Between a global pandemic, the rising consciousness of racism, a mental health crisis, and a pivot to virtual work for many – the world has drastically changed over the course of the last two years. To meet the challenges of the present moment and prepare for what’s to come, we must future-proof our leadership toolkits.
Introducing ELNstudio: Future Proof Me, a FREE two day virtual gathering for emerging leaders from across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) to connect, skills-build, and prepare to take action on civic issues impacting our region. If you’re ready to future proof yourself and your communities, join the Emerging Leaders Network online this November 20th and 27th for two jam-packed days of workshops, panels, networking, and design thinking.
Registration is FREE and every attendee will gain:
- The opportunity to build their competencies as a future proofed leader through skills-building workshops and then put those skills to the test through an interactive Design Jam;
- New connections with rising leaders and senior leaders from across the GTHA; and,
- A year’s access to LinkedIn Premium, including a LinkedIn Learning license, to continue your future proofing journey!

Once you’ve deepened your future-proofed leadership skills, it’s time to put them into action at the ELNstudio: Design Jam. Join CivicAction, TAS, and IBM for a workshop that will harness the collective brainpower and skills of emerging leaders to collaboratively design solutions to a community development problem. We will be supporting TAS, an unconventional impact company that promotes connected neighbourhoods and caring communities, to better understand and measure social capital (e.g. inclusion, engagement, and quality of life) in communities across the GTHA. Facilitated by design-thinking experts from IBM, you will have the opportunity to work in small groups with other rising leaders to design innovative solutions and share your ideas. By working together to apply our new skillsets, we can all play a role in fostering a more resilient, future proofed region
