Lana Majid is a public health professional, currently working as a Public Health Planning & Liaison Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Recent projects Lana has led include a change management project for the implementation of a new provincial low-income dental program for children.
Stemming from a tremendous passion for health equity, systems reform, civic issues, and innovation, Lana has extensive experience in the public and health sectors. Prior to joining the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Lana worked with Trillium Health Partners, Summerville Family Health Team, the Ministries of Government Services and Training, Colleges and Universities, and McMaster University.
Lana holds a Master of Public Health graduate degree from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology degree from McMaster University.
